A day in the Order

Maeve rested her head on Makai's chest. She looked a little dazed again.

Makai wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on the forehead.

Maeve smiled softly and closed her eyes

Makai cupped her chin and kissed her on the lips.

Maeve kissed him back softly

Now her full tattoo was visible, which was the Egyptian eye of Horus over her heart, with thick black lines extending over her chest and around to her back.

Maeve relaxed a little in Makai's arms.
