A change to the Order

Maeve sleepily nodded and very quickly fell asleep in Makai's arms. She looked very peaceful as she slept.

Makai closed his eyes and drifted into sleep never letting Maeve go.

At first Maeve seemed to sleep peacefully and calmly. Then after a few hours she began to stir in her sleep.

Makai awoke as Maeve started to stir in her sleep. He held her closer to him in a protective and warm embrace, His fingers ran through her hair.

Maeve's breathing started to quicken and she started thrashing out as she slept.

Makai looked down as Maeve started to thrash. makai moved some of the hair aroiund her face. He wrapped his arms tightley and pressed her to his body.

After a while Maeve's uninjured eye shot open and she tried to sit up quickly, but couldn't because of Makai holding her. She looked panicked and turned her head from side to side trying to figure out where she was and who was holding her down.

Her breathing was still heavy and after a moment her eye adjusted to the dark and she could see Makai. She gradually began to relax.

makai held Maeve tight stroking her hair, "There there Koi nothing to be afraid of i'm here." makai kissed her on the forehead.

Maeve was shaking a little as she tried to calm down. She looked down embarrassed that Makai had just seen her like that. " S-sorry... did I wake you...? "

Makai gave a gentle smile at her. He leaned in and kissed her on the lips for a few seconds and pulled away, "Theres nothing to be sorry about Koi." He smiled again. He held her tighter and whispered into her ear, "When ever your scared i'll be there, when ever your lonely i'll be there, when ever you cry i'll be there for you. If your ever in need of help i'll be there if you need protection i will protect you."

Maeve blushed a little, " Thank you... " She relaxed in his arms.

Makai kissed Maeve on the forehead, "Its not a problem Koi. I will never leave your side." he held her to his chest, "Now try and get some sleep. Because tomorrow i'm going to help with your training. Not anything to serious so you won't strain yourself so don't worry."

Maeve looked confused, " My... training...? " She frowned a little, " What training...? "

makai smiled at her, "It's not really training to be honest. in truth i lied i'm going to take you out...on a date." he smiled at her.

Maeve blushed a little bit and smiles slightly, " Oh... ok then... "

Makai smiled at her. He held her closer, "Your so cute."

Maeve blushed more, and relaxed in his arms.

Makai chuckled at her. He held her to him, "Lets get some shut eye." makai kissed her on the forehead again

Maeve nodded a little, and closed her eye again. Though she eventually fell asleep it took much longer than before, because of the dream she had had.

makai smiled when Maeve drifted into sleep. he held her closer to him. he closed his eyes and drifted into sleep himself, "I love you" he said before he to fell asleep.

Maeve slept peacefully this time. Her breathing was slow and even, and she looked very calm and innocent as she slept.

Makai smiled at her innocent sleeping face. He kissed her forehead and ran fingers through her hair, "As beautiful as a sleeping angel." He smiled and fell asleep himself.

Maeve continued to sleep calmly in Makai's arms.

Morning came and Makai was the first to awake. He gentle removed himself from the bed and pulled the covers over Maeve. he walked into the kitchen and starte dto make some breakfast of eggs, bacon, pancakes and sausauges.

Maeve stirred a little but remained fast asleep, and didn't notice Makai leave the bed.
