A day in the Order

Makai's eyes turned chocolate brown. he gave a bright smile. used on arm to hold her up while using the other to pull back the bed covers. he slowly laid her down and pulled the covers over. He smiled at her. Leaning in he whispered into her ear, 'Why am i doing this? Not sure but i will say...your kinda cute." He held out a hand and a beautiful rose made of crystal appeared. He placed it on her pillow. He gave her a quick peck on the cheek and walked off, "See ya cutey."

Maeve's cheeks reddened slightly and she starred after him, then went to sit up.

" Stay lying down. " The nurse walked over to the bed and placed a tray on the nightstand, on the tray were many different bottles with various liquids and pills.

Reluctantly Maeve went back to lying down.

The nurse mixed some of the liquids together and handed the mixture to Maeve, " Drink this. It'll stop the shaking, " As Maeve drank it the nurse grabbed the clipboard at the end of the bed and sighed, " I think you're gonna have to stay for a few nights. I'll talk to the Chief about it, but I don't want you near that Innocence of yours for a while. " She snatched the scabbard that held Maeve's weapon in it, away from Maeve. " You attempted the third stage... didn't you? "

Maeve kept her eyes down, " Yes, mam. "

The nurse frowned and walked away, carrying 'Eye of Horus' with her.

Once more, Rose stopped dead in her tracks, Was... that Makai? Oh, jeez... I think I'm losing it... She shook her head and peeked around the corner of the infirmary. Rose saw the glass rose on the pillow, HUH?! That FLIRT!! She reached into her bag and pulled out another glass rose and slid her hand over the edges. Rose sighed.

An arm wrapped around Rose's waist. The arm pulled Rose around the corner. Makai leaned in and whispered into her air, 'Yari-yari if it isn't the beauty." He kissed her on the cheek.

Rose blushed and felt like the wanted to slap him, after all, she wasn't here for him. "Will you let me go now?" She muttered dryly as she grinded her teeth together in possible annoyance, "Before I get angry, anyways."

Makai leaned in and kissed her on the neck and whispered, "Oh why should I? After all you shouldn't be here Rose-chan of the Noah clan." He spun her around and wrapped her arms around her, "Now may i ask what you are doing here?"

Maeve picked up the crystal rose that lay on the pillow beside her and looked at it, then placed it on the nightstand and rolled onto her side with her back to the nightstand and rose. Such gestures are wasted on a being like me.
Her hand moved to her eye and ran along the black scar that ran over it.

She scoffed and raised her head stubbornly, "Damn you. I just need to see the chief for..." Rose didn't want to give away too much, "...for something that doesn't concern you. Now if you don't mind... release me."

Makai spun placing Rose against a wall. He had his left arm around her wiast. His right hand was pressed against the wall. He looked right at her, "Well here's the thing Any excorists see you then your going to have trouble. After all you aren't wearing our uniform and your not a Finder. So it would seem suspicious no? But I can help you get in. But i wanna know why you need ta see the chief. He leaned in closer pressing his body against hers making so she couldn't get away, "So do we have a deal beauty-hime?"

Rose scoffed. She wanted to deny him, but she knew he was right, "Fine." She sneered at him and using all the remained strength she had, she pushed him off of her, "Jeez... this place is hell." Rose shook her head, "I just have some things... some info about the Earl that I would like to tell him. I'm not going into details for you." She crossed her arms and glared at Makai.

Makai shrugged his shoulders. He wrapped his left arm around her waist. He smiled at her, "Well then i guess thats enough for me." He picked Rose up bridal style, "Hold on tight." He took off creating a sonic boom.

Rose looked unamused. She did not seem the least bit happy that some complete stranger was flirting with her. I'm pretty sure that it's illegal... in fact, I'm positive it is... hmm.... Rose was soon lost in thought.

Makai ran through the halls ways increasing his speed. He ran out to the railings. a giant gap in the middle. He grinned. He placed his foot on the railing and leapt into the air. The two descended into the darkness. Makai laughed.

"Why do I have the feeling that you aren't going to help me...?" She sighed and felt herself slipping from his grasp on her.

Chains wrapped around Rose's form holding her to Makai. The Excorcist descended the floors in seconds; The ground started to come into view. Cement flooring that was 100 stories below the earth. Makai laughed as theyr eached 23 stories from the ground.

This... is definitely illegal... She struggled against the chains, "Where the hell are we going?!"

Makai grinned, "Science department of course. Kumoi is always there." Makai braced himself. He hit the ground with a thud. The ground started to form spider web like cracks before it shattered. Makai released his chains and sped forward without an injury.

Rose shook her head, clearly tramatized by the experience, "Never... again..." She jumped out of his grasp and landed softly a little ways away. She brushed herself off and looked around. It took a minute before her eyes got used to the lighting, "I'm sure I can find Komui myself, so..." Rose made movements with her hands, trying to shoo Makai off, "...so you can go now.." She turned and glared at him.

makai grinned, "Like i said if you get caught by yourself not a good idea." Makai cackled "I wouldn't be ditching me so soon. I offered my help and i will help you find him. It be best to stay close. You won't be questioned if your with me. Besides i have to see Kumoi myself to report on my last mission the one in Tokyo."

Rose nodded, "Hai.." She rolled her eyes and waited for further instruction.

Makai placed his hands in his pockets. His eyes turned yellow. He yawned in boredum, "yawn...troublesome...follow me Rose-san." each word was spoke lazily. Makai started to wlak in a lazy fashion.

Rose started to follow and thought, So far, I've seen 3 of his moods... I believe he said 7... There's LAZY, BLOODTHIRSTY, and FLIRT... weird... wonder what the rest are... She yawned as well.

Makai yawned, "If your wondering about my personalities there's 8 off us. though only 7 of us have been seen...yawn...." Makai spoke each word lazily. His eyes shifted turning green. His body stance shifted leaving no unguarded spot. His arms were folded. His eyes scanning constantly. When he spoke his voice different it held no fear and was commanding, "Each of us is different as you have guessed Rosalie-san. Each of us have our own abilities plus the abilities of our innocence."

Makai led her to a staircase, "Would you like to go first or shall I Rosalie-san?" He gave an eye smile.

Rose rolled her eyes, "I'll go first..." She paused and sighed, "And I prefer Rose, not Rosalie." She opened the door, carefully, not sure what to expect.

Makai walked over to the door and opened it for her, "As you wish Rose-san." Opening the door he revealed a large library. Scientists were sitting at desks doing paper work. Makai walked in. His eyes flickered turning pitch black for a split second his face turned into a twist smile before turning green again. Makai scowled at this hoping no one noticed his shifting eye colour.
