A day in the Order

Rose had seen the black, but clearly didn't want anyone noticing, so she pretended she hadn't.

At one of the desks was Komui. Books surrounded him, covering the table. His head was buried deep within a book and Rose saw that he was asleep. She tiptoed over and poked him softly, "Hewro?" Rose looked up at Makai, then back down to the snoring Komui, "It's time to get up..." She said louder.

"You'll never get him up that way..." makai walked over his eyes shifted turning light purple with a white iris and ten six point lightt blue stars around iris, "LANELEE IS GETTING MARRIED TODAY!" Makai quickly stepped back. Komui woke up in an instant. Books and paper flew everywhere. He knelt before Makai gripping his pants crying, "Lanelee! Why didn't you tell me i'm your Onii-sama! waaa!" He cried. Makai kicked the guy in the ehad sending him into a bookcase. the case came toppling down on him. books flew everywhere.

Makais eyes turned green again.

Rose sighed and walked over to Komui. She helped him up and turned towards Makai, glaring at him, "That's no way to treat someone in charge of you." She smiled at Komui and when he was to his feet, said, "Makai just wanted to tell you that he's back from his mission..." She sneered at Makai and snapped at him, "Anything else...?"

Makai looked at her his eyes were red, "Oh don't worry he'll be fine this is just an average day. Only way ta wake him off and get him off ya. Clings to the nearest person and doesn't let go."

Komui looked at Makai, 'So she's not getting married?" Makai shook his head, "No she isn't." Komui started to dance around in join. Makai sweat dropped. He whispered to rose, "And this is the guy in charge around here. See all the paper work in here?" pointed to the millions of stacks of papers and letters, "All belongs to him a build up off over i don't no how many years. Only now have they started to tackle it."

Rose nodded and glanced around the room, unsure of what to do next, so she stood there, looking like she knew she was doing. She bit her lip and frowned, fiddling with something in her bag, "So... now what... are you going to leave, Makai?"

Makai glanced at Rose then back to Komui, "Oi sir extermination of Level 3 Akuma in Tokyo is completed." Komui dusted himself off. He smiled and handed, Makai another mission, 'HEad back to Tokyo Makai all the information is inside." Makai bowed, "MIght as well grab something to eat. Oi rose when your finished head down to the mess hall and get something to eat. I advice you do never leave on an empty stomach always leave on a full one.." He tossed her his cloak, "Where that to get out. I'll get it off you later." Makai walked off without a care.

Komui sat at his desk, "Alright down to business."

Rose looked rather nervous, but nodded and sat down across from him, not saying anything. Her bag was in her lap and she was clinging on to it tightly.

Komui drank a cup of a coffee, "Tell me everything you know."

Makai walked into the mess hall and up to jerry, "Oi Jerry!" Jerry saluted Makai, 'OH Makai-kun hungry again?" "Yeah i'm going out on another mission so give me 1000 large bowls of fried rice and rice, 350 bowls of miso, pork, beef and shrimp ramen, 3500 sticks of dango, 1500 orders of Kani (Crab) sushi, Ika Sushi (Squid), Saba (Mackeral) sushi and Sake (Salmon) sushi, 3500 large steaks, I’ll take 500 orders of tempura, 350 bowls of Pork Cutlet Donburi, Mother and Child Donburi, Tempura Donburi, Beef Donburi, Eel Donburi, 500 orders of fatty tuna Sashimi and octopus sashimi, 250 bowls of raccoon and fox udon, five plates of Kung Po Chicken, 6000 Yakitori sticks, 50 large roasted chickens and 250 plates of Chicken Paprika!"

"Alright coming up!"

"Oh and prepare 5100 dango sticks but i want 100 seperate from the rest!" Jerry saluted the Excorcist, "Hai hai Makai-kun!"

Rose nodded again, "It's not so much as what I know..." She stared at the table (she likes him) and continued, "I happened to have gotten this in my possesion..." Rose pulled out the Innocence and handed it to Komui.

Komui took the innocence and handled it with care. He called for one of his scientists, "Take this to Hevlaska have her store this within her until we find a suited partner." The scientist excepted the innocence and ran off, "Anything else?"

Makai grinned as a large plattered of food was before him. It would take him at least 10 hours till he began his missionb. He broke his chopsticks and grabbed a bowl of fried rice. He dug in devouring the food. He grabbed a steak and swallowed it hole. He grabbed some sushi and ate hat./ he grabbed a bottle of sake and drowned it. He continued to eat ignoring everyone who even started to make bets on him.

Rose sighed and shock her head, "Not the I know of." She blushed and looked away quickly. A frown appeared on her face, "You're gonna kill me now, aren't ya? I mean, after all, I am a Noah. I could move to kill you any second now."

Komui chuckled at this, "Come come now why would i do that? You don't seem that bad. After all why would Makai bring you all the way here? If he was sure you'd try and kill me he'd have killed you already. Now off you go. Go get something to eat."

Makai grabbed a chicken leg and took a bite. he grabbed asteak and ate it. he grabbed a bowl of miso ramen and slurped it up. He grabbed a Yakitori and swallowed its contense and grabbed some more and some dango.he took a sip of sake and continued to eat devouring the food in front of him. Bowls, plates and sake piled up around him.

Rose smiled to herself; she was glad he hadn't caught her blush. I can't go back to Earl now... I'd be as good as dead if I did... She stood up and pushed her chair in, "Arigatou.." There was a worried look on her face.

Komui clapped his hands. The finder TOma appeared, "Toma-kun please lead Rose-chan to the mess hall." Toma bowed to Rose, "Follow me Rose-dono and i advice you put on Makai-dono's coat." Toma started to walk away.

Makai grabbed a steak and ate it. he grabbed a bowl of beef ramen and devoured that. he grabbed his tempura and finished that off followed by his sashimi and shrimp along with all his dango, roasted chickens and Chicken paprika.

Rose nodded and slipped the coat over her arms. She began to walk, but shot another worried glance at Komui. "Alright.." She murmured.

Not before long Toma had led rose into the mess hall. A large group of finders and exorcists were gathered around a table stacked up with bowls, plates and sake.Makai was sitting at it devouring bowl after bowl and plate after plate. Makai grabbed a bowl of pork ramen. Toma shook his head, "Makai-dono is a bottomless pit."

Makai ignored them and continued to eat his food.

Rose looked nervous as she walked into the cafeteria. She noticed everyones stares. Damn... Makai is right... they know that I don't fit in... Rose shivered and frowned, "Now what, Toma-Kun?"

(Gah! You guys got so much done while I was gone! XD )

Maeve had closed her eyes and waited patiently, listening to the nurses walking around the infirmary, the quiet voices outside in the hall. After several minutes of silence she opened her eyes. Positive that it was safe for her to get out of here.

She sat up and got out of the bed silently. Maeve looked down at her arms, they had in fact stopped shaking and she did feel like a large amount of her energy was restored.

Silently she hurried from the infirmary and when she was sure she was far away from it she slowed down and paused, Now where could that nurse have taken 'Horus'... She frowned and noticed her stomach was grumbling slightly.

Maeve sighed, " No point in looking for it on an empty stomach.... " Reluctantly she headed towards the mess hall. She went up to the ordering window and quietly asked for a bowl of rice and tea. Once she got her food she sat down alone and ate silently, keeping her eyes down.

Rose didn't wait for an answer. She walked over to Jerry, and muttered, "One bowl of miso soup and some nattō on rice." Rose paused and thought for a moment, "And a little Yukimi Daifuku, too, kudasai. For a drink, I like Ramune." She smiled, "Arigatou Gozaimasu." Jerry nodded, "Hai! Comin' right up!"
As Jerry was making the food, Rose walked over to where Maeve was eating and sat down next to her, "Hello..." Rose was still smiling; she didn't want to give a bad first impression, "I'm Rosalie... but everyone just calls me Rose....." She finished in her head, And sometimes even Ro-Ro-Chan... The young Noah laughed and scratched the back of her head, still unsure of this situation.

Makai finished his last bowl of rice and walked over to Jerry and Toma, "Yo jerry i'm off." Jerry handed Makai a large bag full of dango, "Thanks jerry. Oh and see you later Rose-chan and you to Toma-san."

As he walked off he passed Maeve. As he did he flashed her a smile. As he did his eyes turned chocolate brown, , "Good day i hope your feeling better Maeve-chan." Popping out of thin air in both Rose and Maeve's hands was a bonquet of crystal roses. Makai walked out of the room.

Rose closed her eyes, anger and annoyance pouring off of her. Her hands clenched into fists, breaking the roses, Damn him!! She shook her head and sighed, calming herself slowly.

Maeve looked up from her food at Rose. She was about to say something when Makai walked by.

As soon as Makai called her 'Maeve-chan' Maeve's cheeks reddened slightly and she looked down, not even her 'brother' called her that... though he never spoke to her anyways. She looked at the crystal roses and set them on the bench area beside her.

She returned her attention to Rose, and in a quiet voice said " Nice to meet you... I'm Maeve Kanda. "

Rose sighed, "Makai-Kun is such a bother.." She shook her head, "Anyway, could I called You Ve*-Chan?" "YOUR FOODS READY!!" Rose laughed, "I'll be right back." She stood up and ran over to the window where Jerry had her meal. Rose grabbed it and sat back down, "You don't mind if I sit here, right?"

Maeve took a sip of her tea and shook her head, in her same quiet voice she replied, " N-no, I don't mind if you sit there..."

She picked up her chopsticks and picked at her food, not really wanting to eat but at the same time knowing she should if she wanted to find 'Horus' and resume training.

Rose pulled a small scimitar out of her bag and held it in front of her, "Would this by any chance be yours?"
